Join us as we select the 2019 South Carolina Rose of Tralee! Meet the candidates, hear their stories, and watch as they perform unique party pieces, all in hopes that they will win an all-expenses paid, week-long trip to represent the South Carolina Irish community at this year’s International Rose of Tralee Festival in Tralee, Co. Kerry.
Deadline for applicants is Thursday January 31st!
The Rose of Tralee International Festival, one of Ireland’s largest and longest running festivals, which will celebrate 60 years in 2019, brings women of Irish descent from around the world to Co. Kerry, Ireland, ever summer for a global celebration of Irish culture. The Festival is also a celebration of the social contributions and varied aspirations of modern Irish women, and culminates in the selection of the 2019 International Rose of Tralee. The South Carolina Rose Center’s main goal is to ensure that the South Carolina Irish are represented on this global state, but also to promote camaraderie among our state’s Irish community, to encourage volunteerism, and to foster positive friendships and connections. The 2019 South Carolina Rose will win a free, week-long trip to Ireland, and will spend that time traveling the country, representing her community back home. Women aged 18- to 29-years-old are welcome to apply for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! More information at www.southcarolinarose.com, or contact Lauren McCue at firstname.lastname@example.org.
